Go for a dark wash, mid-rise boot cut that is evenly dyed, or that the dye lines go vertical. The fold-dye rinses up on the hips that make the stripes just south of the pockets on many pairs of jeans are extremely hip widening and unflattering. The flare or boot cut will balance the size of your thighs and make your legs appear more balanced. Try buying them a couple of inches too long and wearing them with heels to make your legs look longer. Edit: Mid-rise will do a nice tummy tuck, if you have the muffin top hang over with low cut jeans.
