It really seems like smiling is a dra, unless your happy, so why smile?

Well, you can always go by that old adage:

Smile... people will start to wonder what you are up to....

i think that smiling makes people think that you are a pleasant person. i've noticed over the years that less people do it and everyone looks like they are miserable. if you wake up each morning and realize how incredibly lucky you are to be healthy, have a roof over your head, more than enough food to eat and the fact that you DID actually wake up....that should be enough to make you unbelieveably happy !

Because life is just one big comedy fest. Try to look for the Charlie Chaplain moments in your life and just have one big laugh. Look at how many times he fell down and it was absolutely hilarious.

because it's pleasant. it is actually a big deal. it presents a first appearance to someone you don't know. you don't want them to think that you are dry & bitter. . .
