Both Internet Explorer and Firefox recently had updates become available, so if you have one of them and it's bugging you to update it, you probably should. Internet Explorer especially, since it's been several years since a big update.

Downloading the latest version of it. For example, if you're using Internet Explorer 6, you can update it by downloading Internet Explorer 7.
By the way, Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, etc. are all browsers.

Upgrading to a newer version of a browser. Whatever you do, do NOT get IE7.
