Mac OS X is unix based, so u can do unix-like things with it. windows has nothing at all to do with unix, so there is no unix terminal in windows. if u like doing unix things on ur pc, maybe you should give linux a try.

I've tried this once and it's basically a Unix terminal on WIndows but I didn't really like it. It's called Cygwin. I would much rather run the terminal on a real Unix/Linux machine though, or remotely through a ssh client if it is server.
Maybe what u want to do is install Linux on ur computer (dual boot if u want). The Linux partitions will be separate from Windows, so u won't be able to access ur Windows folders unless u create a separate FAT32 Partition for data. Linux is the Visual version of the Unix OS, but the terminal is still there in the background if u need to access it.

There is NO unix terminal in windows because windows is not based on unix!
You can find a unix terminal on a mac, because a mac is running unix (bsd) underneeth. This is why mac is solid stable and almost immune to spyware/viruses etc.
Windows has a command prompt which can be reached going to start ->run->cmd but this is nothing like unix.
Your best option to play with a unix prompt in windows is installing Cygwin which is a Linux-like environment for Windows and can be downloaded here http://www.cygwin.com/

As usual "linuxiac" has no idea what you are talking about.
As the others said, you can use a "Unix emulator", ( a program that lets you type commands for unix and translates them for windows to run), or you can use the built-in terminal to contact unix computers online,
OR
You can set up a "multi-boot" system and load a copy of the Unix OS. NOTE: this requires that your HD have "extra" partitions for the unix system to load to and run on.
Myself, I run Unix system V, an older version of Unix, on an "older" IBM mini-mainframe when I need Unix. I also have several versions of Windows, DOS, and Linux on various systems. Some single OS and some multi-boot OS, depending on the use
good luck and have fun.

Easiest way? Download the http://pclinuxos.com and burn to CDrom. reboot, and it boots in CD, runs in RAM disc. Provides full VT100 terminal services, BASH, TSCH, and other shells! Telnet is there, plus C compilers, and PHP, Perl scripting!
Also, this does wifi if your laptop is equipped!
When you are done with the 1900 games, programs, shells, consoles, suites, etc, just 'log out' and remove the CDrom, and reboot to the xp environment!
On a smaller laptop, just running from the LiveCDrom should work well for you. Install as a multi boot system is possible, but, I would give it a 6 gb partition or, 10 if it doesn't press you. Make sure to defrag before you ever hit the install icon!
The forums are a great help, on the website!

Check out cygwin.com. This may give you what you want, if you mean Unix command-line tools running on Windows.

WHAT?!?!
I'm sorry, my friend, but this question makes absolutely no sense.
Windows XP is an Operating System (O/S) on your computer.
Unix is a totally separate O/S.
Unix commands won't work on your Windows XP machine.
Could you please ask another question with more specifics?
Are you trying to TELNET into a UNIX server?
