LOLOLOLOLOL. Tell me this wasn't a serious question. Trust government? Do you know anything about the history of this government? It wasn't set up the way it was by the founding father's because they TRUSTED GOVENMENT!! They even warned us about its flaws, the biggest being the ignorance of its citizens. Do I trust the United States Govenment? As opposed to what? At this very second in time I certainly trust it more than I trust you. I trust this government more than any other government in power around the world. I trust our form of government (a Democratic Republic) far more than a clasic democracy which seems to be the new battle cry of the 'Left' and their 'sheeple'. The last thing we need is to be governed by mob rule. But if you were serious about your question and not some pansy a** liberial trying to bait a Republican, because I'm a RINO at best, I'll give you an honest answer. I am not at all comfortable in what trust I do have in this government and the government is not at fault for this. I believe the fault lies with the 'Press'. The danger of a 'Free Press' to a govenment lies in the fact that a 'Free Press' can report a governments transgressions. But when a clear majority of the populance can no longer trust a 'Free Press' to report the 'News' as fact or truth rather than making 'News' as ours has done, we live in scary times. And right now nothing could be more important than for the citizens of this country to become informed, to seek out the truth where ever it might lead them and to force those in positions of 'Power and Trust' to be acountable, acountable to The People of the United States of America.

No, I think our Government has become too inthralled with Party Politics and straight ticket voting that we need reform.

I'm not bashing anyone in office, I'm bashing the fact that party politics has practically divided our nation and caused our leaders to try and contradict each other rather than work together to make a plan that will both strengthen our nation and please our people.

Well let's see. The government was formed to protect Individual Rights of Americans. They are to protect our freedom of speech. Reid and 41 democrat senators took a lie and went after a citizen trying to get him fired. The FCC head believes in censorship and propaganda. Government is inhibiting the exercise of of religion. They are violating our Right to bear arms with oppressive laws designed to take away that Right. The are violating our Right to property, Right to the fruits of our labor and Right to contract. (For those that do not know these are actual Rights, that is the problem...start with the 9th amendment). Right to proberty is violated with excessive and political eminent domain, take over of various companies and shutting down dealerships without compensation, Right to the fruits of our labor, excessive taxation for purposes not designated to the government by The Constitution. Right to contract, they interfered with bond holders with the car companies. Now they are trying to put a bill through that will force people to purchase insurance. You have a Right to chose not to provide for your health care, but you are subject to the consequences. 10 Steps To Destroying American Society (Mark Levin) 1. Rewrite the Constitution and break down its firewalls through Judicial and Bureaucratic fiat. 2. Concentrate all meaningful power in the Federal Government. 3. Suppress and Repress the Individual by attacking his Unalienable Rights through laws and constant torment. 4. Eliminate Private Property through Confiscatory Taxation and Regulation and wage constant war against Business Enterprises and Entrepreneurs. 5. Control Institutions of Education at all levels and turn them into Indoctrination Centers for the State. 6. Change the Citizenry by opening National Borders to virtually all comers and changing the qualifications for Citizenship to include mostly poor, uneducated illegal aliens. 7. Destroy the Private Financial Institutions that have funded the Greatest Production and Accumulation of Wealth for the Most People the World has ever known. 8. Destroy Capitalism and replace it with Redistributive Policies by Destroying the currency and Replacing it with a new currency or Revaluing the old currency. 9. Eliminate American Sovereignty through arrangements and agreements with Foreign Countries and International Bureaucracies. 10. Use American Foreign Policy not to improve American Economic and National Security, but to advance the Notion of One Government Globalism. No I do not trust them.

The phrase "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" comes to mind for me here. If those in power can so easily lie about small things, imagine what else they are lying about.

Not the U.S. Supreme Court. I consider those people to be even more corrupt than the Congressmen.
