How does one ship furniture? When shipping to overseas (anywhere from USA), are there any does & don'ts with payments?

I have not shipped furniture, but just make sure you dont short change yourself on shipping charges. Take only PayPal, money orders or cashiers checks, something you can not get burned with. Make sure if item is expensive, make insurance necessary so that you wont be held in a liable state for lost/damaged item. I do not ship overseas, too much red tape and shipping problems. I hope this helps a bit.

I wouldn't recommend shipping furniture overseas. I've been a buyer and seller for over 4 years and I don't ship overseas period. It takes too long for the most part. The best and safest method of payment is paypal....sign up for an account. NEVER ship an item before you get a payment from the buyer. Don't accept cash, personal checks, western union or any money orders other than USPS money orders. I accept USPS money orders and paypal....that's it.

WOW!
FURNITURE!
What a shipping nightmare!
I would use UPS Worldwide.

You need to specify that shipping costs will be the BUYER'S responsibility!

If you can, list shipping costs to different areas.
And specify that the shipping charges will be IN ADDITION TO the winning bid!

Also, If you can use PayPal, that is a great payment option!

Good Luck!
