(Laughs) Yes, I am still in love with my wife. Even after last year, when we were fighting like cats and dogs, and her mother almost had her convinced that she needed to get divorced from me - trying to make it look like I had been abusing and beating her and my son, who was getting bruised all the time. When she went and moved in with her folks for a couple months, and the bruises continued, my wife realized it wasn't me, and we found out our son is autistic. It explained a lot of problems we had been having with each other, since we didn't talk to each other well.
Since then, we now talk about everything that bothers us, no matter how hurtful it might seem. It's easier when you're honest with your spouse. This New Year's Eve will make 7 years of marriage for us, and we've never been happier. We still see a marriage counselor (don't be afraid to, they can help) but at this point we only see the counselor for "maintenance" reasons (basically we nitpick at each other and shoot the breeze with the counselor).
For those who are having trouble with your marriage, I can only say remember the three C's:
Communication - don't stop talking and be honest
Co-operation - help each other when you see a need
Compromise - don't always be set to get your own way - surprise your spouse once in a while and let them have their way
You'd be surprised how far the three C's can get you, with a big dose of love thrown in.

well I just have almost 16 months of marriage and I must say that today is very different than before we got married but I think it should be because is a new phase the difference is that now we're together almost all the time (when work let us of course) and we have taken some things for granted, actually and trying to rescue all the feelings between us like when we were dating. I'm not saying the love is gone is just different, I love him very much and I can't imagine my life without him.

confident, that's a danger, if there became somebody out of your previous which you enjoyed deeply and on no account had closure with. in case you fairly enjoyed that individual, you will consistently love that individual, even nevertheless no longer interior the comparable way you like your better half. Marriage is a dedication of huge proportion, and it would be very incorrect to entertain a relationship outdoors of it. bypass away the previous the place it belongs---interior the previous. while you're presently falling for somebody else, then you definitely ought to evaluate leaving your marriage.

I love my husband very much. We had a rough time about 9 months ago, still reconciling. Being 'in love'...well, lets just say the jury is still out.
