Im 26 was divorced at age 22 with my husband i chose not to have anymore kids, is it a good idea in the future to try for one more child have i limited myself to my husband and i think i have also limited my self and future for a man who gave nothing to me in return and now we are not together what do i do confused ,

okay let me ask you this was the man you had a chid with someone you could enjoy having children with? or do u just not want anymore children? If the first question i asked is the reason i have this to tell you. I was like that with my first marriage and didnt want anymore either until my birth control failed me but the funny thing is i now have a daughter in my second marriage and its wonderful and i want more kids. If you just feel like you dont want anymore then dont do it and be upfront with future men and let them know if you want kids im not the girl for you. And go for another man because i am on my second marriage and everything is completely different from what it was with my first husband just learn from the mistakes of your first marriage so you can find someone who wont make the mistakes that happened in your first marriage. best of wishes to you and good luck.

You're putting the cart way, way, way out in front of the horse here! You can't really know if you are going to want to have more children with someone until you're in that situation. I'm not sure why you're even thinking about children at this point. You're only 26 and you have a long life ahead of you. When the right man comes along, the two of you will decide together whether or not to have children. Remember, the glass is half full. It's not a case of the glass being half empty with a hole in it and you standing out in the middle of the desert. Good luck!

Just because you are now divorced, does not mean you will not find true love and happiness. Open your heart to the possiblity of having a great new life with someone else and having more kids.

Despite what anyone says to try and make you feel better, it is going to be more difficult to find love the more times you're divorced(if you have been divorced). You couldn't make it work the first time.
With that said, I'm not going to say that you can't and that you shouldn't try to find love. Absolutely, you should. You should work very hard to make sure the next one works for you and for him. Good luck.
