i was eating the other day and i ate all my fries well this other guy got up and went to bathroom so i stole some of his well he asked me about it when i got back and i lied

Excuse me I had to chuckle. How hungry were you? Did you eat his fries compulsively? The eating wasn't so bad the lie well you should of fessed up, Once upon a time I had a friend, she had fixed us a lovely salad and went in the kitchen to finish preparing the meal. Well those dad gum grapes sure looked tempting to me. I had one, I had two, I had several..... I ate mine, then I ate hers. When she came back she was speechless. I of course could not lie as the grapes were all gone. Sometimes you do stuff that is not earth shaking bad, but ya need to be honest about it. Your friend is not going to crucify you for it if they are truly your friend. Honesty is the best policy though.

Personally, I do think it is wrong. I don't think it would of been wrong if you joked about it, said sorry and then paid him back for his fries. He probaly knew it was you who took his fries because where else could the fries go when he goes to the washroom? No biggie though, its just fries right? :P But you should probaly let him know where the fries really went.

How would you feel if he had done that to you? But then again, he should never leave his food unattended. Someone could put something in it while he was gone. I think you did him a favor.
