If you know this, why is your daughter still seeing this guy? If the guy she's seeing is her age..call his parents. They are 16 years old. Take control. I was in an abusive relationship when I was 15, and had my mother known, I know she could have stopped it. Obviously you already know, so do your job and step up. She needs a mother, not a friend.

Have this boy arrested, it's still assault! This will be a life long problem, and get her into counseling now! Why is she even seeing this guy? And why are you allowing it? Have you been hit and put d? She learns by your behavior, if you allow it , it becomes the norm. If you can't afford counseling, there are many programs that cater to the financially unfortunate. Her self esteem will keep plummeting if you don't help her out of this....this kid is dangerous in every sense of the word. I know she probably thinks she's in love with him, but that's because he represents something familiar to her, please get her help now, before she continues down that road. You recognize the problem, help her solve it. Even if you never were abused, for some reason she thinks it's what she deserves, help her!

Hey I want to shake the hell out of her just from what you have said!!! Here is what I would do: 1) Let her do what she wants, yeah that might sound stupid and irresponsible but she'll learn from her mistakes because trust me she WILL get a name for herself in school such as cheap, easy, tart etc but in the long run this is good, it might open her eyes to the fact people are using her. 2) Don't take her phone or computer off her, this will only make her rebel even more so trust me that's not good it will only make her worse!! 3) Talk to her friends to find out why she is being like this. She may blame it teen hormones but that excuse is pathetic and not needed. At least if you talk to her friends they are more likely to tell you. Say something like "We are worried she will make the wrong choices" or "Do you really want your friend to meet with older men and have her endanger her safety?" If they care they will tell you all that they know. 4) As for the STI you should consider slapping james...I would! Seriously, you say he is your friend? How can he be if he thinks it is right to go off with your YOUNGER sister? You really need to make it clear to him that what he is doing is wrong on all levels. I hope you manage to make her see sense! You could also, threaten her by saying making something up like "The family is falling apart because of you" or "Mom is on anti-depresents becuase of your stupidity". This sounds harsh but use it as a last resort if she still won't listen becuase this will make her think a lot if she realises she is making fanily members ill. Good luck with it all. I really hope she snaps out of it because it's really not fair on you or your mom. Take care x

Let her know that she won't be seeing that guy anymore and make sure she doesn't.
Talk to her and let her know that she deserves better.
