Your boobs are sore because of the hormones, and tissue changes in your breasts. (they are most likely becoming bigger) It isn't good to take hot baths at any point during your pregnancy, but somedays when my back has been verrrrry sore, I will lay in shallow hot bath water (without submerging my belly) just so I can relieve my back pain. But if you are actually having a bath and soaking everything, you should go with warm water.

Hot baths are not good, the water should not be hotter than your body temp. It can cause your baby to over heat. Your breasts are preparing for the baby and things are happening for the milk production, also hormones can play a role.

My doctor told me to sit a hot bath with all three of my kids because I had really bad sciatica. No you shouldn't sit in a jacuzzi, but anyone that ignorant shouldn't have children to begin with. A hot bath is different than a jacuzzi or hot tub. Most women, remember I said most women, are smart enough to know when their body temperature is too hot. Don't listen to myths because that's just what they are, MYTHS.

I took hot baths with both of my kids and they turned out fine. I found them to help with the everyday aches and pains I had from pregnancy. As far as the breast tenderness you could try wrapping an ice pack in a towel and putting it on your breasts.

Yes it can be dangerous to sit in a too hot tub when pregnant, a warm tub however is perfectly safe a good rule of thumb is.. If it changes your skin color (pinkens reddens) or causes you to prespire it's too hot..

Hot tubs are more of a concern than a bathtub..

Hot tubs are also a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungus.. Best to avoid them while pregnant..

Your breasts are tender due to hormone changes..

w/ my first (9 yrs ago) they said no, and now with the new one 9wks they said yes, just don't use hot tub temps. Doctor also said the biggest problem with baths and pregnant women is that it gets hard to get out of the tub without help.
