Simply don't fight the kid. Fighting doesn't solve anything; your parents have a reason for not wanting you to fight. Try to solve the problem verbally, but if that doesn't work, just avoid the kid. Stepping away from a fight makes you the stronger man.

I would say respect your parents wishes and keep the car. Where's your priorities ?
Thats coming from the parent in me.
I used to fight in high school but it's dumb. If you want to fight people take karate or judo. Then you'll be so confident in your abilities that it won't bug you to have some body call you out and to have to say I don't want to fight you.
Also when you have that kind of ability, you can show somebody that you know what you are doing, then they probably won't want to fight you either.

Fighting will get you no where and which is more important your car or your ego?? Backing away from a fight will make you stronger and smarter, losing your car will be difficult to handle..

Fighting this kid is important why? If he is threatning to fight you and goes to the same school report him to the administration. You wont win any cool points, but terroristic threats is usually illegal, so you should be able to avoid it and keep your car.

this is a hard decision - laughingstock or car..laughingstock or car..i think that you should tell him that u r not in 8th grade anymore and u guys should resolve ur problems like mature adults not like immature kids - tell him that he has to get over himself and he has no selfconfidence
it may sound loser-ish but it works
if u want to keep ur car - tell your parents that u guys resolved the problem like mature adults and didnt fight ((even if u do end up fighting))

If you have a car your rather old to be fighting so The funny answer would be to run him over =) but more realistic you need to defend yourself if it comes down to it

tell him to get lost, grow up adn go get a life. because you want to be a respected, sencible adn decient person that suceeds in life adn you want a car.
ont fight some idiout because he wants to. even if he is a wimp. has some respect for your self and your perents. adn then cgo past him a 5 mph in your car filled with mates and girls smile at hime as you cruse by.....

Thats pretty lame if you ask me, if your standing up for yourself or your beliefs then i think its alright to fight. If the other kid comes up to you and swings first then techincally your not fighting your defending yourself. As for you parents taking your car away, just dont get caught and if you do say he swung first and you defended yourself.

Be the bigger person and don't fight him. You might get hurt and your car taken away! Not worth your time.

it really depends on what he did or said to u. if its something big i say go about it like this..
if you know you can flat out squash this kid, then i say go for it but do it somewhere where no one would find out about it. i say this only bc if u do fight him, and u come home all f*cked up, u dont have many options on what to tell em. i mean u could always just deny if he says u beat him up.
now get out there and kick some @$$ !!
