Culterally it would be an interesting experience since the United States hasn't performed a hanging in quiet some time. But I am not sure if a public hanging would be in the best interest of the world. I mean there are people that support Saddam and there are people who are against him, i just think it would cause a lot more tension, and possible more deaths. If there wasnt such a risk, I think it would be interesting to see.

YES! They should definatly televise it. To those that say no, thats sick, think of it like this. How long have we been seeing all the death and destruction at his hands? I think we are owed to watch his death and destruction. I don't know if MTV is the right channel for it, but it should definatly be on TV somewhere.
I could just see it now. Saddam, the hanging, TRL...Oh the possibilities.

How rude! Twelve to eighteen year old going to find it too graphic and rated R, even with parental supervision. Think of it this way: When someone's sentenced to death row in your state for a crime they commited, whether lethal injection, the gas chamber, the electric chair or in some states, hanging/lynching, they don't air it on TV. Too graphic. They mention it on the news the morning after about his execution. No TV station in their right mind would air it, or the FCC would have a field day and fine them.

That should or should not be done according to the laws of Iraq. If they allow it, then it is up to the networks if they want to televise it. Personally, I would not have wanted to see the stingray attack that killed the crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin. But, I would have no problem in watching Saddam get his neck stretched.

I don't think they should televise the hanging of Saddam. Think of all the teenagers and kids that would be watching this terrifying event!!!!

No, i dont think they should or would. Our children and grand children see too much on tv. I think his hanging will be carried out privately within a few weeks.

i grew to become into questioning if somebody might ask this ! i'm uncertain - no longer for reason's of style & decency, yet for the clarification it ought to turn him right into a martyre. The sight of him dying ought to create all kinds of violence in Iraq and may even supply him iconic status. in the event that they do elect to tutor it, might I watch it? nicely I hate to declare it, yet area of me might desire to. there is not any dispute that he's (grew to become into) a violent dictator and there is that human component to morbid interest.
