I would like unbiased opinions just on the Gators chances.

in all actuality the gators have as much of a shot, if not better shot of playing for the national title than louisville. if the gators win out they should be right behind louisville and then if the gators win the sec against either auburn or arkansas(maybe LSU, mathematically still alive but very doubtful) then that should help their status in the computer polls and probaqbly jump louisville and get them in the title game. there they would more than likely play ohio st or michigan and in my opinion if they can get their offense working right, have a good shot of winning the national title. but that gator defense is nasty.

No. I don't think they will get a chance to play. An undefeated Louisville team will probably get a shot, as undeserving as they would be, and even the OSU/Michigan loser might get the 1 loss bid before the Gators. I feel that Texas is more deserving than Florida, assuming that the Buckeyes are in. The Longhorns only loss was to Ohio State, and losing to #1, only means you aren't #1. No bias, I am not following that closely though. If my Buckeyes stumble along the way, then I will take a better look.

I hope they do. I'm not a Gators fan since they beat my Vols :-( But I want to see a SEC's team winning the national title.
