sometime your hormones are a little mixed up in the beginning and this can happen. I would see the Dr. to make sure its nothing serious

Yes, it is possible to be pregnant and still get your period. This typically only happend during the first or second month of your pregnancy, then you body chemistry levels itself out, and you won't get your period until after you've had the baby. When did you have sex last? Most over the counter tests are only reliable about 3 weeks into a pregnancy, so if it's been less than 3 weeks than the test could be wrong. You should go see your doctor just to be sure.

Yes, you can have some bleeding even if you are pregnant.
But, the flow is usually lighter or less than a regular cycle.

You should ask your doctor, and take the test again. Home tests are not always accurate.

I have known several women that had short periods or spotted in the first tri mester, including myself. I was trying to get pregnant, and thought I was not because I had a light period. Well guess what? My son is sitting in the other room.

I was 6 months when I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter, I was having periods all through my pregnancy.
The doctors told me that this was common but not very often.
Damn, I was annoyed , I could of done without these for 9 month's. lol

Yes- they usually aren't real periods- just light bleeding. It is unusual but some women will have it for several months. If the test says you are pregnant, go talk to your doctor ASAP.

Yes you can. I had my period for the first 3 months of pregnancy. It does not mean anything is wrong.

or
You could have had a miscarriage so now you are on your period.

I think that that means that yes, you can still have your period.

maybe the test is wrong .... you should take another one just to be sure
