When I turn on my computer, the following text is displayed on the screen: "... had reset due to over - clock setting. Re - enter CPU settings in the CMOS setup." What does it mean?

This message will generally come on when a video card or monitor has been installed that is incompatible with the current settings on your bios. You can try to fix this by going into your bios and restoring the original settings. You can find directions by looking up your pc type and bios in google.

Exactly what it says!
Someone has set the CPU clock speed to fast, to try and make it work faster.
Go into the system BIOS, and press restore settings.
