No part of Florida is actually tropical. Key West sits at 24°33′2.16″N latitude, while the Tropic of Cancer is further south, at 23° 26′ 22″. It actually passes very close to Havana, Cuba, some 90 miles south of Key West. Florida does not have rainforests, but it does have a massive subtropical wetlands called the Everglades.

Southern Florida does have a tropical climate, but that does not necessarily mean it has a rainforest. The temperature stays about the same throughout the year in southern Florida and the Florida Keys which classifies it as a tropical climate.
Just because it doesn't snow does not mean there it is tropical or has a rainforest either. It never snows in southern Texas and Mexico, and there are know rainforests. Hope this helps!

Florida has swamps and wetlands, not rainforests. Florida for the most part has close to a tropical climate without actually being in the tropics. That has nothing to do with if it snows or not. There have been rare occurrences of snow in the northern part of Florida especially.

Heh Heh HEH! I LIVE down here, and if you think we have anything resembling raiforest your head's in the clouds. Florida has SWAMP, 100% mangrove estuary, pine stands, and palms. (short ones, though, not royal) The whole state's a muddy dump with more mosquitoes than most countries, punctuated by a tree or two. Great fishing, though.

no it does not, its just in a sub tropical climate. What we do have is the everglades, beaches, extreme heat and humidity... we do get a lot of rain but "sigh" no rain forest...
