13 years working at a level 4 state prison. I learned that inmates write the same letter to several women. And if their mouth is moving they are lying.

Try to Spend some time trying to do stuff that is going to benift your own self .... because trying to please everyone and helping people and giving 100 percent to everyone and doing everything you can to do what others want is a formula for failure. You have to tell people i'm sorry I can't do that I have to do something else or I already have a full plate.
Otherwise they will just use you and you'll end up being used and unappreciated.
What I learned: It is good to help others but never at your own expense. AlwaysGive 100% but not more becuase then your giving more of your self than you can afford to give and the greedy will take it all and offer nothing....they don't care if your drinking 10 gallons of coffee to stay awake working nonstop 24/7 giving everything you got They only care about themselves.

Getting a divorce. The lesson was, don't try and fool myself about anything. I wasn't really honest and married someone I was not in love with.

Men.............train them well from the start. Don't let them be lazy. Don't allow them to be rude, impatient, disrespectful or abusive to you. Make sure they are not mama's boys before you marry them. If they are, they won't and can't change.

Children........do not accept unacceptable behaviors from them.

People..........do not allow them to cross boundaries. Say no if you have to.

Pets...............give them your all.

Parents...........love them and give them support, but don't allow them to lay guilt trips on you.
