It says it "takes on the propeties" of whatever item you use... so does that mean that it gains the item's durability?

Does an iron golem summoned from armor or shields get that object's defense bonus?

Does an iron golem summoned from a shield get the shield's chance to block?

Does an iron golem summoned from a weapon get that weapon's attack rating? Does it get the weapon's damage score instead of the iron golem's damage score, or on top of the iron golem's damage score? and which damage score does the iron golem use if it has a weapon that can be used either one handed, or two handed?

What about enhancements? When you use a superior weapon, does the iron golem get enhanced damage, enhanced attack speed, enhanced defense, enhanced durabilty, or whatever?

And what about magic items? Do iron golems have ability scores that they can enhance? Can they steal life or manna, and if so, do they steal it for themselves, or for the necromancer? Does a golem get increased MF

Nice question... This is what I found:

-You will receive the additional Damage listed on weapons, or the Defense listed on Armor. Currently you do not receive the damage benefit for using two-handed weapons.
-Some magical item properties are not transferred to the Iron Golem, such as "Chance to find Magical Items" and "Mana Steal".
-Iron Golems can gain the abilities of Socketed Gem weapons.
-When you create an Iron Golem out of an Ethereal Item the Iron Golem is translucent.
