How come in my school's textbook, the Indians who killed people are described as the nicest people in the world? In my school's textbook, they make any minority seem like they were the best people in the history of the world, but they don't do anything nice to Jews or white people. This is reverse racist AND I think it's racist to the Indians and the blacks. Although it's making them better than whites, it still separating them, and still not making them equal.

So sorry you've been introduced to the real world at such a young age. Lol, just busting on you since I'm from NY. Go Yanks! Go Sabres!

It's just how the world is right now. Some districts are trying to stay politically correct by making sure they educate in a way that is not offensive to reactive demographics. Yes, you're frustrated because the faculty won't stand up for themselves and the community, but you gotta just deal with it for now.

Because you're so smart though, I'll let you in on a little hint - don't fight back in researching the truth and telling the class what's right. Instead, understand what's going on inside the classroom as well as what happened in history. Then, ask non-provocative questions about the background and motives of the situation.
"What encouraged the slaves to organize on plantations after they submitted to their captors in Africa?"
"During WW2, didn't the military encourage the civil rights movement by procuring the success and discipline of Japanese and African American units?"
"Didn't the Mexicans instigate the Texan independence movement by oppressing Texan ranching rights and nationalizing Texan property?"

When it comes to presenting these questions in class, you must be very careful and confident in your own ability. Do not get intimidated and do not forget the specifics of what you're asking. Also, be prepared with a couple of examples or facts. Going online and doing research through JSTOR or Proquest really helps here (goto Google Scholar to access other databases).

More importantly than this is remember there are others out there which recognize this, but they hide because they're afraid and they really do not care. Even if you do inspire them, they won't come out completely because of their own weakness although they may say "good job" and "thanks". Liberal textbook bias has been a very controversial subject for the past 15 years, so what you're talking about isn't new.

Oh yah. Don't forget, you're a kid! Enjoy life and have fun. You'll have to worry about all of this when you get older starting once you're in college when you research and report this stuff. Relax, play and hang out, and enjoy yourself. It's OK if your moral compass isn't set straight right now. After all, if it was, you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place now would you? ;-)

If you're REALLY so worried about that textbook, just go on a vacation to some historical sites or visit some museums. Besides, Mom, it'll be a good excuse to get out and spend sometime with the kids over something interesting.

God was once very exact while he gave over 100 prophecies within the OT approximately the primary coming of Jesus Christ. They had been all actually fulfilled while Jesus got here the primary time. Therefore I have first-rate trust within the prophecies concerning his Second Coming. The Bible tells us that Jesus needed to be born in Bethlehem. The identify of the city was once given enormous quantities of years earlier than Christ was once born. He have got to even be born of a girl who was once a Jew. Mary's family tree involves Jews. The Bible additionally says that the Messiah could be pierced (as Jesus was once at the go), and lots of different prophecies. The parties that have got to take location while Jesus comes once more have no longer happened. When Jesus comes once more, He will pop out of the sky, shining vibrant in order that no person would leave out Him. the sky will probably be darkish on the time, so each and every eye will see Him it appears that evidently. Your query is a well one. It is spoke back through paying concentration to the exact main points approximately the occasion given within the Bible. We realize the Son of God, the Savior of the World, the Judge of the Living and the Dead has come for the reason that of the volume of prophecy he flawlessly fulfilled. We realize Jesus has no longer come the moment time for the reason that the parties have no longer spread out in the way in which the Bible states.
