My personal favorite at the time is Sam's Town by The Killers. Almost every song on that album rocks. i love weezer, the flaming lips, greenday, coldplay, the newsboys, the foo fighters, five iron frenzy, the killers, aidioslave, 3 doors down, radiohead, good charelote, and TONS of others. don't get me started.
