an abstract is simply a fancy word for a summary, are you talking about science fair?
because if you are, there is a set format for you to write it, its on the form. You have to talk about your hypothesis, problem, methods (briefly), and conclusion, and if you want, how this will affect our knowledge of the subject.

in your abstract, dont forget to compare your experimental results againts proven results. and say why you were off. ( i usually say because all experimental values are for 25 degrees celcius, but most rooms arent that temp/.)
