This depends on which state you live in and how far along your pregnancy is. To simply say that it is "legal" is wrong; not every pregnant woman in this country could obtain an abortion right now if she wanted one. There are many factors affecting the legality of this procedure.

The current law in the US is you can have one if you want one. How far along you can have one, minimum age, and parental permission, are decided state by state.

It's restricted but still allowed to some degree. But Republicans are hinting it may not be for long as they continue to replace supreme court retirees.
