How could he like Christianity - a religion that glorified the life of a Jew - Jesus. But he was against anything that did not support his National Socialism. He didn't kill Jews - however, just because of their religion - he saw Jews as more than just a religion - but also a race of beings.

Hitler was an Athiest. I have seen no evidence that he wanted to be worshiped as a God. He was against all religions. In fact before the mass exporting of Jews to concentration camps came first political opponents, next religious leaders, especially those who'd shown opposistion. The comunists were also one of Hiter's first targets. Ethnic groups like the Gypsies were also exported en masse to concentration camps. Catholics were probably the second most common target behind Jews for concentration camps but large numbers of Protestants and many athiests were also sent to concentration camps. The Athiests for political rather than religious views.

There is a famous saying by Martin Niemöller
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist;

Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a socialist;

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist;

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew;

Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Martin Niemöller was a Protestent preacher and former U-Boat officer. He was arrested and sent to the concentration camps for being critical of Nazi arrests of other Protestent clergy, especially one incident where they came in and arrested 8 while they were at the alter in the middle of a sermon.

It wasn't about religion, it was about race. The strangest thing? He convinced an entire country that only tall white blondes are of the "pure" race, so everyone else was "expendible." Most Germans fall under that description, so that's not the weird part. What is, is that an entire country (for sure there were some exceptions, but we're talking majority here) believed his words and followed him as a leader.....when he was a short, dark brunette!

What Hitler actually believed in his twisted brain is probably not anything that we could understand, but he claimed to be a Christian, and often referred to God in his speeches. He was NOT an atheist, if you could judge by by public speeches. A lot of Nazi propoganda criticized the communists because they were atheists and the Nazis continuously told the German people that they (the Nazis) were the defense of Christian Europe against the godless communists. There is a famous quote from one of his speeches which you could probably find on line with a little searching . It says something like "One thing I know, that there is a God and he has blessed our work" So, what he actually believed is probably not soemthing we could say, but what he said was that he believed in God.

Hitler was pretty much made of hatred. Only he managed to disguise it in his dream of a 'master race'. Which pretty well became his excuse to have anyone killed that he wanted killed.

Hitler hated the Jews because his mother(whom he loved more than anyone) died and her Dr. was Jewish, so Hitler blamed the Dr. and all Jews, for her death.
