First of all, if you can't afford an attorney, you should be able to qualify for a public defender. I would contact the court and inquire about this immediately. As for the rest of your questions, once you have an attorney, he or she is the best person to answer those. I would NOT go to court without an attorney on this!

I got caught when I was over 18 for stealing $26 worth of stuff from a grocery store. It was my first offense and I was fined $500 and had 40 hours of community service. The court room was packed with people but everyone was too concerned with their own problems to pay any attention to me. I did not get a lawyer but I used the public defender that was available at the court. I wore a white cashmere button up cardigan sweater over a light colored blouse with a skirt. I wouldn't bother crying if I were you, that may just annoy the judge.

(This was in the US. I'm guessing you're in New South Wales?)

If you are a minor, the police should have told your parents. Since you do not have any money you should go to court and ask to be assigned community service because you cannot pay the fine. If you are over 18, it is up to you to decide if you need to involve your parents. If you cannot afford a lawyer, you can be assigned to the public defender. Call the court and ask about the proceedure for that.

Basically, you did the crime, now you do the time.

And don't cry just to weasle out of a punishment. That is pathetic. And it usually doesn't work.

I've never been to court, my my neighbor is a lawyer. She says to wear blue, don't beg, and don't cry. Explain calmly why you did it and tell them that you are super sorry. You prolly should get a lawyer, but I don't know how much it will cost. There are 12 jury people in the courtroom, usually 2 lawyers, witnesses, and defendants. That's all I know.

I'm always in trouble for flirting because I dont realise I'm doing it. I think I'm being friendly but my partner and all my mates say I come across as Flirty. Doesn't do any harm though, so I would say good thing.

stop worrying if its your first offence you get a good behaviout bond and small fine crying always works shows remorce tell the magistrate about your bad childhood throw in some family abuse and your home free dont wear clothes that look to good or it will blow your story out the window forget about a lawter get a social worker they are good for a sob story or two and maybe get a psychiatric report to back up your bad childhood story.

If you are under 18 you are required to be escorted into the court by your parent or legal guardian. So you better face up to mum and spill the beans.

Oh, oh oh! With the lawyer's costs, the fine, and everything, it would have been cheaper to buy the clothing regularly...Bingo! They want you or everyone else to stop doing such a thing.

Did you think something like this could happen? Did you care something like this could happen?

Talk to your family and a lawyer. Dress neatly, it takes as long as it takes. Oh and a word of advice, if you don't like worrying about such things, STOP BREAKING THE LAW!!!
