Illegal immigration? Im not going to say yet where I stand on it because I just want some non-biased opinions from everyone.

Do you think that illegal immigrants should be deported and not allowed to come back until they do it legally? Or...

Do you think that illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in this country and better thier lives.

What is your opinion on this topic and why?

This country is made of immigrants so to completely close borders is hypocritical that said we do need to secure them as much as possible because it is a risk factor to drug trafficking and possible terrorist entering. Also, if we had programs for legal entry that didn't take so long, everyone would be surprised at how many just want to temporarily work here or get an education here then go back home. Most people love their own country even if they hate their government. I think once we get those problems ironed out anyone entering illegally after that should be barred from every entering again. As to who is here, maybe we could set up a way for them to come forward and get legalized if they can prove their not terrorist or trafficking in drugs and if they don't come forward and they are found here illegally they lose all rights to enter and are immediately deported. We would need more people investigating illegal immigrants though!

They should definitely NOT be allowed to stay. They should come into the country legally. I worked for the US Government for 12 years in Europe and was married to an American for eight of these years and none of that gave me any short cuts so why should illegals be allowed to stay. Now I am a proud citizen and I think it is a disgrace that our government doesn't come down harder on the illegals.

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be aloud into the US if they can't pass the Immigration process that people used years ago then they shouldn't be aloud in the U.S. they should be deported until they can come into our country. And They Should no English!!

It's tough to answer when it is posed in that manner - which is a large part of the problem. There is the matter of immigration, and then the matter of illegal activity. I think immigration as it benefits the majority of the country is great! I think the practice and/or acceptance of activities we have laws to prevent is wholly destructive and dysfunctional.

The key word here is ILLEGAL! They should be deported and not allow to come back unless it is legally done.
Most people don't begrudge anyone that wants to better their self's. But not on the back of tax payers and the social services systems.

I put myself in their situation. If I could do something that would make things better for my family I would do it. I would prefer they did it the legal way but I don't know what that consists of. All of us have someone from our families that immigrated here at some point so why close the country now?

i think immigration is ok but not illegal immigration they want freedom they should earn it america dosent need that many ppl i know its a free country and every one is welcome but there are laws for being a citezen we need to give americans the jobs not illegal ppl and that law all ppl born in america are legal citezens is stupid ppl come here just to have there kids its not fair if u want to be american do it fairly its not that difficult and i honestly dont think other countries are that awful i think they might not be as good as here but im sure there not that bad but idk for sure

no, if they come to your country to stay means they like your country and because their country was harsh,are you going to change the view on your country? from a friendly and peaceful country to a rude and intolerant country?
