I have a friend who sent a music demo to a major record company,he sent it certified mail.He has full copyright/sound recording of the song.A year later there is a song that is now on the top 10 charts.Same beat, same storyline, same ending to the song. The song was released by the same record company he sent it to.Though they altered the song alot. Can this still be proven in court. The song is by snoop dogg and akon,I wanna love you.His song is I wanna marry you.Is this something he should pursue?
