Do you guys think the age should be lowered to 16? Why or why not.

I think it should be raised to 21. Or it should not be given to anyone who breaks the law or has ever been a citizen of a foreign country.

Not. Nothing against our young men and women but 18 has been decided as the age of responsibility. A 16 year old has more problems with finishing school, dating, figuring out what to wear at the prom, drugs, ect. 18 is a reasonable age and it works.

No. At that age, teenagers have not a clear enough criteria to decide about the type of government that is needed according to the situation of a country. (I don't say THE country because I am not from United States) How can they decide they shall support a conservative or a liberal way of thinking and acting yet?

nope...because some 16 year olds don't even know much about the gov't so having them vote would only screw up the choices made toward our democracy...

NO!!!! i'm thirteen and i think NO!!!! people are too stupid then but the driving age should stay the same because if you are old enough to have a job your parents can't run you around every where!
