the engine is completly rebbuilt and runs good. if i dont start it for a weeek i have to put gas in the cylinders. i have a brand new racing carb for it but its not on.... if i put it on would it start better?....wouldf make it start easier?.....oh yea its electric start

First of all this is a easy fix, go to wall mart and buy a 9 Pound hammer and hit the kart several times and it will be fixed

it sounds like it is definitely in the carbeurater.... u dont need a new carb to fix this tho...either the carb just has to be cleaned, or theree MIGHT be a problem wiht it. just throw the new carbeurator on and test it out. its not taht mcuh work...maybe 20-40 minutes. also.....try shutting off the gas every time wanna stop it...and let the gas burn outta the carb.

Have you changed the spark plugs lately?? If you did then it is in ur carb.

Sounds like the pilot jet may be dirty.
