He has done a great job in Japan. He is still young and has a lot of experience. I think he'll do fine in the Majors. Maybe it'll be tough at first, but he'll eventually become a good pitcher.
The bidding wars are on so I don't know where he'll go.

Matsuzaka has great stuff to succeed. He did great in the WBC. His gyroball is actually questioned as a backdoor slider. His regular slider has uncommon tail on it. His splitter is very fast. Fastball is around 95. Yanks and Rangers are the leaders for him. Cubs are behind at 3rd.

His name is Daisuke Matsuzake, I think. Well, in my opinion looking at his stats, he's the best pitcher in Japan. He might not be the greatest pitcher, but I do think he'll be better than any Japanese pitcher in the MLB(Chien-Ming Wang isn't japanese). I think that if he pitches for a really bad team, he'll have 12-15 wins, but if he pitches for a really good team with awesome run support, he'll get 16-20 wins.

No. He is as good as a MLB 3 or 4 starter. Successful as an inning eater and 10 game winner. Not worth the money he is goign to command.

that is hard to anser. there have been some japenese seccsesses like ichiro, matsui, and So Taguchi but there have been some flops to. its one of those things that you dont know till hes hear and the yanks, mets, or Bo sox will probibly get him but the marreners have a thing for japenese players. however the rangers are looking for some decent pitchers as are the CCubs and cards. he is far game for any one willing to pony up 15 mil a year over 6 years.

He'll do very well his first season. Once people see him more and figure him out I think he'll be a 10-13 game winner at best. He'll be a good guy to have in the lineup but I doubt he'll ever be an ace someone.
