I need to put transmission fluid and brake fluid in my 1989 cutlass ciera. i am recently seperated from my fiance he went to iraq, and he does all the maintnence on our vehichle

You add the fluid through the DipStick Tube.

The brake fluid, you remove the cap to the master cylinder and add the fluid to its resevoiur

yes it is through the dipstick tube but make sure it is low first. And the brake fluid should never be added to. If it is low then you either have a leak that needs to be fixed or the brake pads are getting warn and need to be changed. Take it in for a free brake inspection and while your there have them check and fill (if necessary) the tranny

You use the same slot the Check dipstick is in with a special narrow necked funnel.
