people on the web will do anything to get you sucked into some kind of something? Have you ever got those pop-ups that ask you a question and if you get it right you win something like an ipod? I get those all the time. What I started doing was putting the wrong answer on purpose to see what they would say. Like, earlier I got a pop-up that said what is eminems daughters name? Get it right and win a prize. The choices were Kim, Halie, and Britney. I know that the answer is Halie, but I put Kim first and it said Congratulations! You won! Then I put Britney and it said Congratulations! You won! I just think that it is ridiculous and I just wanted to share it.

Right on, it is becoming a real pain to try to look up anything that you don't get shell shocked into so many-I was searching for a specific item and the one that most interested me I completed the questionnaire, only 1 and the next day I received 64 sign-ons to go to their websites. I am in hopes that someone could step up and try to regulate all the scams and the selling of your e-mail address unless you consent. I had found a way before I moved to block those but I can't find it now to use on my new computer. Does anyone know how to do this, let all of us know. Thanks

It's really ridiculous - I would like to see a study done finding out how many people actually fall victim to things like that. I know that if it happens once, it'll never happen again.

I agree. Most because are inticed by the word free and just want something without actually working or paying for it.

yeah they are really stupid, ive done something like that too, if you move your mouse around on it, you will see no matter where you click on there it will go to the link saying you won, just ignore them, there stupid

don't do anything to those pop up .. some wont do nothing but some will give you programs that can harm your PC
