stretch a net or mesh over a wing shaped hanger (wire) then make small little wing type lines on it with a sharpie

You could fashion the wings out of stiff wire - coathangers work fine - then stretch some black nylon leggings/stockings over the shape of the wings.

Make a paper Tracing of the wings, and then use that as your pattern, now your ready to cut out the fabric.
