In '04 and '05 the White Sox and the Tigers hosted the All Star Game and the following year appeared in the World Series.

Your a little off on the dates. The Whitesox hosted in 03 not 04, it was the Astros who hosted in 04. However you have found an interesting coincidence.

Astros hosted in 04 and made the WS for the first time in thier history the next year (05). Whitesox hosted in 03 and in Won the WS in 05 after a long draught. Tigers hosted in 06 and lost WS in 06 after a long draught and after losing 100 games just 2 years before.

Sorry, but the Detroit Tigers hosted the All-Star game this year, 2006, not last year.

So what you are telling me is the Giants are going to the World Series next year!!! After they hosts the All Star Game!

A coincidence it is, but I don't think it will work out next year for the pirates. Even if they do make it, the pattern was win, lose, win, lose. I doubt that they will even make it to the playoffs...

well ye thas cool, but tigers didnt win it. and also the only reason is because the al dominates the nl. but ye thas good.
i posted 1 like those Q's not long ago.... crazy baseball pattern in last 3 years.
