Well, most of all, it means we are living in a great nation that was founded on the principles of democracy, and freedom for all. Unfortunately those freedoms are now being taken from us, right before our very eyes.

Every fourth of July I feel like I should be celebrating the birth of an amazing nation, and feeling proud to live here.

By the end of the day I just feel sad that our country has deviated so far from the ideals that our founding fathers created.

It seems like today the USA is simply about money and being the boss of the world.

It means that I will be down in San Jose, Costa Rica celebrating it at the Imperial Brewing Company Park where the Americans living in Costa Rica throw their annual 4th of July shindig and that I will be drinking that fantastic Imperial Light beer and having fun with all of the beautiful ticas (Costa Rican women)!
