Margaret Thatcher for President.

Now that is a vote I could cast.

I know she is ineligible but I could back her. Problem is I think the USA is still a good old boy operation with the country badly divided. I know voters who wouldn't vote for a woman no matter what, and others who would vote for any vagina that ran. Even one with a room temperature I.Q.. Sad that so few people actually research a candidate past a few sound bites. Just look for the R or D after the name and NEVER and I do mean NEVER consider anyone else.

Gender is immaterial. What really matters, in terms of a good President, is their ability to articulate ideas in a cogent manner, their insistence on being an advocate for the people instead of special interest, and having adept diplomatic skills.

Unfortunately, in our current political climate, a woman, even if qualified, might not be a viable contender for office when you considered that much of Middle America is still pretty misogynistic.

I think it would be great to have a strong female President!

Hillary, or Condi are very smart. It's about time for a woman to be President.

That would be great. Gender does not have anything to do with whether someone can hold a position or not. I am all for it. It would be about time.

I couldn't care less. Or more. Or at all. It's insignificant.

Just ask Queen Elizabeth I.

Thank you, and have a good evening.
