From what I hear there was a contract negotiation that did not go her way. Apparently when UPN and the CW merged some shows were lost form each network. Thet kept the shows that were doing really well. The cast of the show allegedly decided that they were going to hold out for more money, sort of like what the cast of Friends did the last year they were on air, remember how they held out for like 30 million an episode? Well, it did not work out. The network did not wnat to increase the salaries and she decided not to return...Which really sucks if you ask me cuz the show is not the same. Sometimes talent gets too big for their britches. She really should have worked something out for her professional reputation and especially for her fans.

She wanted to explore the big screen. I read an interview in the Sunday paper on Nov 5 that Jill Marie Scott did and she stated that this is the reason that she is not on the shoe. I don't think that the show is going to make it much longer without her. I use to really enjoy the show but it isn't very good right now.

She needs to come back. Seriously. It isn't as good without her.
