Could be real, could be in movies, TV, books, you name it. Who were YOUR childhood role models, and what was it about them that made you look up to them?

My Godmother. She seemed to accept me the way I was and not judge and critisise me like my family did. She was also kind, caring and non-interfering. Thats all anyone needs, I think - maybe thats why so many of us look to unreal figures because they can never disappoint or judge us as we will never meet them!

My parents.
My mom taught me how to read and write and my dad taught me the crucial life lessons.
They were always there for me.
And i loved being their child. It was fun and original.
I especially remember our road trips to LA and i remember watching them in the front seat and thinking "i hope that's me and my husband one day".
Plus, my dad is just so wicked. He knows what he's talking about. He doesn't judge. He's completely open-minded. And he's always there.

Both of them are at the top of my list.

And then there's Kevin Costner in A Perfect World. I always loved how he treated the kid. He made sure he had fun and that he was safe. And he took him trick-or-treating. That was the sweetest part. He was an awesome human being (in the movie).

I can't remember ever having one. I made up my own mind as to what I liked and what I didn't from an early age, and anybody who told me what was good or bad I would yell at. maybe that's why I turned out so strange?

well i will say my mum and dad for sure. now that i am older and wiser, i realise just how much parents do for their children, but only start to realise it once you have children of your own. and a note to everyone: always let your parents know you love them, and if you live away from your parents, try to call them at least once a week. they wont be around forever

my grandmother
she wasn't as strict as my mum, but i knew if i had crossed the line, she would call me by my full name.
My gran taught me how to bake, garden and respect, she is very religious, no swearing or talking dirty.
To this very day i still don't swear, my gran taught me more than i can say
