Most are, although if band members have a MySpace accessible to fans, they are usually in the Top 8 of the band's MySpace Music page.... But a lot of people make fake MySpace and LiveJournal pages for fore Role-Playing games and stuff... And some people just have nothing better to do than to pretend to be famous, even though they're not...

There are alot of fake ones out there . but there are also alot of genuine celebrities with My Space accounts.
Usually If they are the real deal, they will have an account in the "My Space Music " section.
I think they have to give some kind of proof to My Space that they are the real McCoy.
Also their updates are genuine , as to where their next concerts are gonna be , and they blog about their new albums etc ...yes there are some posers out there ...but they will ususlly have an account on the regular My space section and Not in the music section.

Most of them are fake. You can find 2-3 different profiles of people on there and each one is different. People are just looking for attention because they have nothing better to do. And i agree myspace sucks!!!!

some yeah because the people who make them get lots of attention in knowing that they are popular and is also a way of getting lots of people to join myspace
