Like an owl means wise. I need to find one that represents gullible or foolish. (for a project that has to do with making a coat of arms)

Like owl means wise. The thing I'm doing with it is making a fake coat of arms for a project. The motto is "Notre Vie Dur Une" which means "Our life is a hard one" (generally) please help!

Coats of arms are usually meant to herald the best of a person or house not the worst. Having said that how about a grasshopper- in the fable of the ant and the grasshopper he foolishly played while the ant got ready for winter, then had to go begging when he had no food. Just a thought.

Maybe use a monkey (laughter) or a donkey (foolish). Good luck with your project!

wise as an owl
silly as a goose
stubborn as a mule
dumb as a donkey.

I think the goose would be most appropriate
