If Saddam's death were to stop the war or end it sooner it would make sense. If his death only makes things worse than it would be too late.Maybe they will hang some look alike anyway.Should they leave him somewhere to rot so everyone can see him?From what we already know of these people it won't matter much at all. Iran will most likely play some role in ending the war.I really doubt anyone would vote him back in power anyway.

I think he should get the "sentence" and then live on death row just waiitng for the time and never really know if he is going to live or not.
Not in solitary either-- let him have to live with and deal with real criminals!
I dont think he would last very long with his dictator mindset and would end up being very subservient to other inmates.

If that's what the courts found, then it is very right and fair. He could have been in other countries where he wouldn't have even faced a trial; he would have just been killed instantly.
