As has been said above, I doubt that it will make any difference on its own. I am surprised that there has not (yet) been a major event, and I hope it stays that way. That would be so obvious that it might launch civil strife elsewhere than in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think that coincidences are rare and this is not one. It was calculated and maybe that isn't a bad thi8ng, but I REALLY hate being steered by anyone but my own twisted mind.
