Good question.
The timing certainly seems to fit what we have become accustomed to, politically calculated.
As has been said above, I doubt that it will make any difference on its own. I am surprised that there has not (yet) been a major event, and I hope it stays that way. That would be so obvious that it might launch civil strife elsewhere than in Iraq and Afghanistan.

honest. If it weren't for President Bush and our involvement in Iraq, Saddam might nonetheless be there doing his element and killing harmless people. President Bush's determination and our troups are the clarification that vile guy grew to become into caught. The Iraquis sentenced him, no longer Bush so how ought to that have been a political ploy on behalf of elections being held in u . s . of america. in case you think of our president is evil, then you definately ought to additionally begrudge all our militia forces who're doing what their president informed them to do. i'm hoping our women and men come homestead and are taken care of with admire and not merely like the Vietnam vets have been taken care of!!!! Sadam wanted to take over the international, merely like Hitler did and if we had no longer interceded, he would have and you very nicely must be lifeless now from a nuclear bomb. evaluate that previously you trash our President returned. Be he democrat or republican, we are u . s . and it is by using fact we are UNITED that we STAND!!!!

I think that coincidences are rare and this is not one. It was calculated and maybe that isn't a bad thi8ng, but I REALLY hate being steered by anyone but my own twisted mind. I honestly think that the populations IQ is sadly under estimated by our elected officials. and it will cost them political power.

I doubt it was calculated, but I hope it bodes well for the Republicans because if the Dems take over they will be the ones in shock when the Radical Islamic Fascists move their war over here.

The verdict will change nothing in our election, anyone who has not already made up their minds wouldn't know what the word verdict means.

Well since seeing as how no one wants anything to do with Bush, Sadam's execution won't have an impact on anyone's campaign.
