I recently got a promotion and have been working several hours, lots of overtime. I am so sleepy when I get home and just do what it takes to get my daughter and i ready for the next day and rest. My best friend is upset with me because I have not been talking to her as much as i did before and have not had time for her. I have tryed to talk to her about it but now she is ignoring my calls. I know i have not had alot of time for her lately but I feel that she is not being understanding at all. Am I right? What should i do?

Sounds like she is just really missing you. No, she's not acting the best in this situation, but she probably feels hurt. Give her some time and try not to worry about it. You have done nothing wrong.

Your right, shes not being understanding, if she was in your place she would understand, you should tell her you love her as a friend and have been really exausted from everything, whenever you get the chance try taking some days off, if its afordable, if not, then shes not being a very good friend, if shes ignoring your phone calls, send her and email or try sending her a letter through the mail helping her understand what the problem is, and has been, and that your just exausted, maybe that will help.

It's very hard to balance out your life. Which is more important-friends or money and job? Ask your self this, and your answer will become clear.

well, she's obviously just a little jealous and not used to this. i agree with the other two answers just give her time, she'll be ok. she'll be more understanding as she gets used to it.
good luck.
