I sure hope not. I was born in 1960 so that makes me 21, I guess. The way things are going at work I may start looking for something else. After 21 years+ I still love my job, I like my coworkers, but I HATE the management. Even if I just changed employers it would probably be the same so I'm thinking of ways to become self-employed.

It's never too late to change anything. Ever. The way I look at it, I would much rather make less money and be happy than make more money and be miserable. I guess it all depends on what your idea of success is. If you have a dream then go for it!! If you can do what makes you happy, wake up with a clear conscience, pay the bills and love and be loved-THAT is success to me!

well, 50 yrs old is kinda late to change a career totally, becuz, you'll probably have to take college courses over the music industry and it more than likely takes qutie a bit of training. But if you have alot of inspiration, confidence, and time i'm sure you could do it. Best of luck!

my Mum did when she was in her early 50's.Now she owns a organic health food shop. She sells every thing from fruit and vegetables,to flour, butter, lentils, pasta, rice, dried fruit and nuts, and free range meat. She was a little nervous at the start as she was delving into the unknown,But now,I have never seen my Mum so happy and so at ease with herself. To me you are never to old to change careers if that's what you feel you need to do to feel alot happier on the inside.I hope that what ever you choose to do,that every thing goes the way you want it to go.take care.

It's never too late! Go for it! In fact, the pianist for "Saffire, the uppity blues women" didn't learn the piano until she was in her 50's!

If you are passionate about this then talk to someone in the profession. see what training is required and what jobs you would be able to do. whatever you do put your heart into it and have fun with it!
