I'm having one of those weeks right now. I was supposed to have a 3 day layover due to business (I'm a pilot). It turned into 8 days stuck in a hotel with the only things to do: have a jaccuzzi (having one alone it stinks), watch tv (only thing besides news shows is p0 Rn0 and they're all re-runs), or eat. So I've been eating a lot and watching tv because I don't know anybody here and there isn't even anywhere around to rent a car to go into the city to sightsee. This "international" airport is about 20 miles away from the city and they have like 2 car rental places and they each have about 2 cars to rent.
SO I've been eating at the hotel which doesn't even have a weight room or a pool. I brought my trunks because my next few flights were supposed to be LAX to Hawaii. Instead I get stuck in Canada and it's freezing cold with snow, I have no winter coat. So I'm eating and sitting around for 8 days and now I have to leave tomorrow morning and now I find my work pants don't fit. I mean I can't get the zipper up at all. And my jacket is tight. I've been wearing sweats for 8 days. I've never gained weight so fast before and I'm S-rewed in the morning. What am I supposed to wear sweats and my dress shirt and tie and carry my jacket? I can't even get to a store to get a bigger pair of pants and I don't know any of the other airlines people at the hotel. The one guy I met the other day is a stringbean so I can't even buy his extra pair of pants.
SOOO I know this is already one of these weeks for me. It's one of these months.

I've had a good one this week.Car failed an MOT, got it fixed at great cost only to achieve an MOT pass and then to have the car commit automobile Harri Kari whilst still within spitting distance of the repair garage (the car had flat-lined in a manner that fuses certain key parts together in a way that tells you that even inanimate objects want to throw in the towel sometimes). So I now have an expensive lump of unmovable metal with 12 months MOT and I'm about to help save the planet by proxy.Add to that the failure of our central heating just as the temperatures fell, falling out with the rest of the family(I had the bad timing to walk in on someone Else's argument and am now "guilty by association" by just being in the same room) AND having a bad hair week (again). However this is not an unusual week for me and lately I've developed an outlook that's kind of disassociated from these things and am learning to embrace the chaos in the belief that I'm part of some bigger celestial farce that's giving somebody, somewhere a lot of enjoyment.

Yes, I think we all have those weeks at sometime or other, best thing to do is to be positive, pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again, things can only get better when you've had the treacle wader effect of a week.

You gotta look at the bright side in everything. No one knows for sure what the week is going to be like and if you jinks it before hand it will be just what you want it to be. We all have horrible weeks but was it really the worst? Try a positive outlook.

sure, sir! Fever led to nightmares, too. i became sick for quite a lot 2 weeks and had a nightmare each and each and every evening. certainly, although, I type of loved it. My nightmares are continually very interesting and unusual. obviously, I wasn't intrigued by technique of them till a short even as after the marvel from it went away. The area that sucked about it became that, even as i became sick, I wasn't sick adequate to not visit college. 2 weeks of less than pressure sleep and college-crammed days isn't interesting.

Yes I do. Every Monday morning fills me with dread. The key is to find something positive ahead of you in the week (i.e going out with friends on Saturday night) and cling to that thought through the pain!

I'm not having a good week but some of the answers on here at least made me laugh -- LMAO @ niceguy ... pants won't fit! LOL!
But the car dying woman was sad. I think she's right, someone somewhere is enjoying watching the insanity in our lives... at our expense.

Absolutely - where you have about 4 deadlines to meet all in one week and you've got other things going on and its like a roller coaster as you're getting on - you know its gonna be a rough ride but you have no choice but to go forward. One step at a time it what I remind myself and it usually ends up better than my negativity predicted.
