Give him something from yourself. Like list down the things you love about him and put it in an envelope with a letter from you. Great gift, sweet, and cheap.

Dont give him anything too expensive. Im 14 and my girlfriend last year gave me a wallet with pictures of us together in it. Trying doing something with him instead of just spending money on him.

You can have the win/win situation if you buy him something like some "smell good", shoes, jacket, etc. or you can be considerate of his tech side that most boys have and get him a cd player, video game, ipod, etc.

give him a rose. not every guy gets a rose from a girl and it's flattering.
it's flattering because not every guy is given a rose by a woman. but don't give roses alone. think of the things he likes. then make them yourself. for example, he likes cartoons. make a key chain of that character. feel me?
