I just noticed today that I have a bump or lump on the inside of my upper left thigh. It's red and somewhat firm. I don't remember being bitten by anything. I came home and noticed I had this red bump on my thigh. I've tried looking on the internet but I can't really find anything. What might this be? I'm male btw.

It could be an ingrown hair! Sometimes they have a way of just showing up. Is it sensitive to touch? Is it red in color and look infected? Need more info. Check out ingrown hairs online and see if it matches up with what you are experiencing.

You could have an ingrown hair that has gotten infected. I tend to get them in that very same area of my leg. The lump can get really big and sometimes I have to have it drained.

sounds like a boil developed from an ingrown hair & got infected. You can have it lanced& drained & topical antibiotics plus oral , also. Do not fear. let the local ER surgeons examine this or a dermatologist.

don't worry... ok this is what will happen... be prepared..it will jut swell a little, and one day the pain will be a little overwhelming but then it will burst... that let all the puss come out... make sure you squeeze it a little and than apply some cream to it... anti fungal will be alright... within one week it will clear up..
