I had a really bad hate-crime type of incident happen to me today. Do you think some people will ever stop taking advantage and hurting people who are of a different race?

This is horrible! I have a no tolerance policy for racial hate crimes. This has been a debated issue for years gone by, but i believe that now we have moved on as a whole society. It is not as though we have warred against each other personally.
I honestly believe it is the ignorant people and the stupid people of this world trying to drag us back to this time when it was an actual issue.
You did not deserve to be the victim of a racial crime! Unfortunately for you I do not believe this will ever really stop because ignorant and stupid people will always exist. Just try not to do what so many have done in retalliation and stereotype the person who committed this crime as being typical of their own race.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I apologize for the entire human race. I do all I can to stop it, and have even walked away from a job due to the attitudes. Perhaps I should have stayed to fight, but my life was in jeopardy for it.
While I had hoped that the species was due for enlightenment, the knowledge I have gained about people from this site assures me that is an unrealistic expectation.

Unless we all get brainwashed and get the same views, opinions, and be brought up exactly the same way, people will always be discriminatory. It's like when you're in school, the jocks will always make fun of the nerds, etc. As long as humanity has feelings, thoughts, and opinions, there will be hate and discrimination with it.

Its not me !!
I had a black girlfriend and some black friends when I was young, and I use to love African music, and such.
Then I started travel around the world, the first place were US, and I had my first experience of being mistreated by a black guy, I was astonished, now I think that some people are just aggressive by nature, and this is something that has to change.

Time changes but some people don't. People will always be racist and unfortunately people will be hated for who they are. But always remember there are good people in the world.
