Dont do anything by a well known vocalist (Beyonce, Christina Aguillera, Whitney Houston) you will be heavily compared and chances are people will not like your version. I would pick a big hit by someone who was like a one-hit wonder. The most important thing is to pick something in your range.

Anything from the Cinderella musical (not the movies... the Broadway musical). It is one of the most complex and audience pleasing works.
Also, anything from the "classical" voice genre would show range, and would put you out in front of everyone else doing the modern pop tunes.

anything that u feel will express your vocal cords really well b-cuz with some songs a person can sound better then the artist or u can just try singing viven green emotional rollercoaster
