I am looking for a good foundation and/or powder that doesn't look like crap after half a day, also some good eye mkeup that stays on all day. What brands are the best, cheapest to not too terribly expensive? I can't seem to find anything that works how I want it to.

Cover Girl if you watch america's next top model, you see how their faces have a good foundation in the make up when it goes on their faces for photo shoots

Mary Kay has a great foundation. many options to choose from as well whether you are looking for a medium coverage, full coverage, powder, or a creme to powder. I hated foundation before Mary Kay because either the foundations were to cakey or you had that orange line going on. Mary Kay's foundation are great because it gives you the flawless natural look...and you can't tell you are wearing foundation either. the foundations cost $14 and has lasted me 7mo!

Revlons Colorstay liquid foundation.... Great coverage and hard to take off... A bottle runs about 10-12$ depending on where you buy it.

If you have oily skin, Revlon's Color Stay line is great.

If you have dry skin, Lancome, Clinique and Laura Mercier have great foundations. My favorites are Lancome's Renergie Lift, Clinique's Dewy Smooth and L. M.'s Flawless Silk Creme.

Mac is one of the best places to get make up for my daughter and myself. Their powder stays on for a long time. It runs about $24 for the compact.

Wonder Finish Make up, from Maybelline. It's light, stays on, stays matte, doesn't shine and it's like you wear nothing. I loved it, and I have a really oily skin. For eye make up, try the eye liner of Nivea.

A really good foundation to use is the powdery-dry foundation from Sheido. It works really, really good. My mom uses it every day. She loves it!
